“Rob Fenwick genuinely knows and understands online campaigning” – Iain Dale
Until January 2010 I was Director of Communications and Public Affairs for the University of Westminster, before taking up new challenges in the education sector.
My background is in print and web work for the Royal Society (the UK’s 300 year old fellowship of leading scientists), Liberal Democrat Party, National Trust and Future Publishing (one of the UK’s largest consumer magazine companies).
In 2005 I was one half of the team which ran the party’s national e-campaigns, and in 2007 I created and edited the largest website for Liberal Democrats in the UK, Liberal Democrat Voice.
A blogger since the tender age of 18 in 1999, I may be marginally older and wiser these days, but I still haven’t broken my addiction to taking my most boring thoughts and publishing them for the world to see.
If you see something on here you would like to talk about, do leave a comment or drop me an email to rob@northumbrian.org.uk – I look forward to hearing from you.
You work in London but live in the middle of nowhere?
Yes,that’d be just about true. That’s explained in the video below (though I can’t explain the haircut… now departed!)
